Excel Formula for Computing Percentage of an Examination (Exam)
I had created a formula that will compute an exam percentage. Can be useful in some professor and teachers like me.
Normally, for example if the exam is 100 items, then you might use this formula:
If the Raw Score is 75 then the % Percentage Equivalent is 75%.
The only problem with this is that if the student score is zero then your percentage is zero as well and we don't want that because this student might fail the subject even he made other exam OK.
Well what I want is a formula that has a passing grade and passing raw score. Let say lets formulate the percentage score with a passing raw score of 50 for 100 items and the passing percentage grade is 75%. For example. If the student gets 50 Raw Score for 100 items then his/her grade will be 75% not 50%. The formula is:
